Introducing Two New Film Series:
"Tiny Tots" (3 to 7) / "Young Globetrotters" (8 to 13)
Now in its second year, The Greater Hartford Children's Latino Film Festival 2011, under the auspices of the non-profit organization the "Association of Peruvian American Professionals", is honored to showcase high-quality, independent and international Latino and global themed children's films, shorts, animations, and documentaries. This year’s festival venues include the Wadsworth Atheneum, 600 Main St. and the Hartford Public Library, 500 Main St., both in Hartford, CT.
The idea was born from the need to focus on underserved inner city Latino youth, and to expose them to artistic cinema that can empower them to reach their fullest potential, while simultaneously celebrating multi-cultural diversity within the Greater Hartford community. *All films have English subtitles so all children are welcome!
